Middle Tennessee Crappie Club

Randy Clark and Hal Corum with first Place and Big fish on 2-18-12.  They fished Normandy Lake. 

 Jason Farris and Dave Amonette won the Big Fish Tournament on Tim's Ford Lake with a 2.32 Slab.  The tournament was a Lake of Choice tournament and was held of 1-28-2012.

Goodrich Hill and Kenneth Locke with first place on Normandy 10/22 with 9.21 lbs.

Randy Clark was the winner of the MTCC tournament on Tims Ford Lake with 10 fish weighing in at 7.81 pounds. 

Randy Anderson and John Wells were the winners of the LOC Big Fish tournament.  They fished Normandy lake and had 22 keepers.

Dave Amonette and Jason Farris took the prize on the first Lake Of Choice Tournament for MTCC.  There were 7 boats participating in the event and all caught fish.  Dave and Jason had a great day on Normandy and brought several fish to the scales.  This was a big bish only tournament. See the tournament results sheets for all the weights.  Nice going guys! 

 The Middle Tennessee Crappie Club had its first tournament of the year last saturday, January the 29th. There was a total of 7 boats enter the tournament even though it was a very early season fishing event.Teams were as follows.....Toby and Randy A, Tracy and Randy C, David and Jason, Goody and Kenneth, Joey and Bobby, John and a guest and Steve fished it alone. This particular tournament was a Big Fish Only tournament. Entry fee was $20.00 per boat with winner take all, so it had a nice pay out. Saturday's conditions, however, was a pretty day, air temps got up to around 61 with the water temps mostly around 41 to 42 degrees. Most found the fish pretty tough to come by. Out of the 7 boats entered, there was only 4 boats that found crappie big enough to bring to the scale for weighing. They must be at least 10 inches long in our area to keep. The winner of the Big Fish tournament was Steve Trost from the Estill Springs area. He was able to bring in a .95 as his big fish. We also had a .68 .73 and a .89 weighed in. Steve told at the ramp that he caught his keeper with less than 30 minutes to be back to the weigh-in. Wtg Steve, and congrats to you. Next month the MTCC will be hosting another Big Fish tournament but this one is for members and members guests only with some special rules.
